To launch the year’s hottest phones, we created a first-of-its-kind AR scavenger hunt, powered by real-time data. The game took place in eight major cities across the U.S. To find the hidden Snapchat lens, players had to be in the right place, at the right time. Clues directed players to a location where Verizon claims network superiority. Multiple data points informed users of when it was the right time. The most creative Snaps were awarded with free iPhones on Verizon.
